Hillsborough's Off-Track Wagering Hearing Is Next Week, July 22

A quorum of the nine members will be present, along with staff members.

Now that the application for the off-track wagering site is complete, a public hearing will be held for residents to voice their comments, questions, and concerns at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, at Hillsborough High School, according to CentralJersey.com.

“We look forward to the public participating in this process,” said Mayor Douglas Tomson.

Executive director of the commission of the N.J. Racing Commission Frank Zanzuccki and some of his staff took a visit to Hillsborough High School last week since it will be the location of the commission’s public hearing for the off-track wagering facility proposed for a former restaurant on Route 206 in Hillsborough.
