Medical Center Sets Urgent Care Center Opening

New center on Route 206 will provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.

Somerset Medical Center will hold an open house on June 1 for its new Urgent Care Center located at 751 Route 206 North in Hillsborough. 

The open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include information about the new facility, free blood pressure and glucose screenings and an array of children’s activities, including a bounce house, smoke house, face painting and an appearance by Somerset Patriots’ mascot, Sparkee. Car seat safety checks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Healthy snacks will be served.

Somerset Medical Center’s Urgent Care Center at Hillsborough will open in early June, providing walk-in family medical care seven days a week.

The center offers treatment for a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses in children and adults, such as upper respiratory conditions, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, urinary tract infections, rashes, insect bites and minor sprains, strains, cuts and fractures. X-ray and lab testing services are located on-site. The facility will be staffed by doctors certified in emergency medicine, including doctors who staff Somerset Medical Center’s Emergency Department. 

Somerset Medical Center Urgent Care will be open evenings, weekends and holidays. No appointments are necessary. Most major insurance plans are accepted.  For more information, visit www.somersetmedicalcenter.com/urgentcare.
