Ready For Snow: Hillsborough Prepared To Tackle Storm
For the first time in two years, Hillsborough Township may receive some measurable snow this weekend.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — As a cross-country winter storm makes its way to Hillsborough, the Township says they are ready.
"The Department of Public Works is always prepared for winter weather, from its staffing to equipment and deicing materials. All of our 30 plow vehicles have been inspected and work as they should, private contractors have been contacted to be in ready mode and our salt barns are full along with the salt brine tanks," said Hillsborough Department of Public Works Director Rich Resavy to Patch.
"It looks as though the storm is leaning towards more of a rain event at this time. We will be monitoring the storm's progression and managing the road conditions as we always do. Our main goal is to provide a safe, ice and snow-free roadway to drive on for the traveling public," said Resavy.
