SNAP Food Stamp Outreach Comes to Hillsborough, Oct. 9
Free pre-screening and application assistance available this Friday from the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
The SNAP Outreach team from the Community FoodBank of NJ will visit the Hillsborough Public Library from 1pm to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 9 to help low-income families see if they may qualify for food stamps.
They will help those people likely to be eligible for food stamp benefits to fill out an online application. Support in English and Spanish will be available, The library is located in the Hillsborough Twp. Municipal Complex, 379 South Branch Rd.

The Outreach team provides free SNAP eligibility pre-screenings at emergency food pantries, senior centers, soup kitchens, churches, and other community sites serving low-income families in 18 New Jersey counties. The Community FoodBank of NJ also distributes 43 million pounds of food a year to more than 1,400 programs which feed almost 1 million New Jersey residents.
