Snow, Rain, Wintry Mix Hits NJ: What To Expect
Winter is not quite done with New Jersey as some areas may even see up to 4 inches of snow on Wednesday.
NEW JERSEY — Rain and snow have already begun to fall across the Garden State as it seems winter is not quite done with New Jersey yet. Some areas may even see up to 4 inches of snow.
The line between snow and rain runs along Interstate 95 where areas in the northwest region of the state may see up to 4 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. While areas southwest of I-95 will see mostly rain with a rain/snow mix along the corridor in Central Jersey.
A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. for Sussex and Passaic counties. As a result numerous schools in Sussex County have closed on Wednesday.

What does it mean for driving conditions? NWS is expecting limited travel impacts as "snow will not stick to the roads in many locations outside of the higher terrain of the southern Poconos and northwest New Jersey, especially above 1,000 feet."
