William "Dave" Scott, 67, son and brother of the late Bill and Jody Scott and Mary Kay, died June 4 at Somerset Medical Center.
Dave was a life long resident of Hillsborough and retired as a Sergeant in 1994 after 25 years with the Hillsborough Township Police Department. A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Scott enjoyed NASCAR Racing and spending his retirement with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife Cindy, his sons Tod Scott (wife Vonni), Ed Mathewson (wife Janine) and Joe Mathewson (wife Kasey) his daughters Chris Guritzky (husband Jonathan), Angel Sheldon (husband Peter) and Beth Yankson (husband Eric), 17 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will begin at 4pm on Thursday, June 6, concluding with a Memorial Service at 7pm at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Victory Junction, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, North Carolina 27317 or VictoryJunction.org in Dave's memory.
