Probation For Sussex Man Who Possessed Child Porn: Prosecutor
A Sussex County man who admitted to possessing child pornography may also opt to serve a 30-day jail sentence at home, officials said.

HOPATCONG, NJ - A Sussex County man who admitted to possessing child pornography was sentenced to three years of probation, a county judge ruled.
Eric Hand, 29, of Hopatcong, also must have no contact with children, pay $917 in fines and serve a 30-day sentence in Morris County Correctional Facility, Acting Sussex County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart said Friday. However, Hand may opt to serve the sentence on home detention, Taggart added.
The sentencing stems from Hand’s guilty plea entered on April 13, in which he pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and possessing child pornography on electronic devices that belonged to him, Taggart said.
