HOWELL, N.J.— A new electronics repair shop, Asurion Tech Repair & Solutions, has opened in Howell Commons.

“We understand how important our devices are, and more importantly, we know how frustrating it can be when they break,” said Steve DeFalco, the district manager for Asurion.

Asurion offers professional fixes for most consumer electronics, from smartphones, tablets and computers to game consoles, smart speakers, drones and more, the company says.

The store, in the Howell Commons mall at 4705 Route 9 north, is already open for business and will have a grand opening event on June 18 from noon to 2 p.m., featuring discounts, giveaways, refreshments and more, the company said in a news release.

While common repairs include cracked screens, battery issues and water damage, the company’s staff can help with most any tech mishap, and many basic repairs can be completed in two hours or less, the news release said.

The store is an authorized repair provider for Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel smartphones. Customers can book a repair appointment online or stop by the store for walk-in service. Go to its website or call 848-299-0719.

The store offers free, no-obligation diagnostics on all gadgets, as well as a one-year limited warranty on all repairs. It offers a price match guarantee on any local competitor’s regularly published price for the same repair, the company said.

The new Asurion Tech Repair & Solutions store is one of more than 800 locations across the U.S. Formerly known as uBreakiFix, the company will rebrand as Asurion Tech Repair & Solutions throughout 2022, the news release says.
