Truck Company Eyes Route 9 In Howell For New Development

The proposed development was approved at the Howell Zoning Board meeting on Monday.

HOWELL, NJ — At the Howell Zoning Board meeting on Monday night, an application for a new truck sales and service center on Route 9 was approved.

Gabrielli Howell Realty LLC, the applicant, plans to build a two-story structure for truck sales and leasing. The proposal also includes a parking area, as well as loading and fueling stations. The proposed service center would be a 38,750-square-foot structure on Route 9's northbound side, according to zoning board records.

The site will be accessed via a 36-foot-wide two-way driveway from US Highway 9 North, which will also provide internal access to the site, according to zoning board records.

Additional improvements listed include visitor and employee parking, a fueling tank station, a loading zone, a retaining wall and one stormwater management basin.
