2 Rounds Of Snow In Forecast For Hudson County, Forecasters Say

Forecasters say at least two rounds of wet snow may make for slippery roads through Sunday. See the timing.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — At least two rounds of snow and freezing rain are in the forecast for this week through early next week, according to forecasters.

In Hoboken, Jersey City, and Secaucus, here's what's expected:

  • Early Thursday morning: Snow after 4 a.m, with temperature around 32. A 60 percent chance of precipitation. Accumulation of less than 1 inch.
  • Thursday: Rain, snow, and sleet, becoming all rain after 11 a.m. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Saturday And Super Bowl Sunday: 50 percent chance of snow after 10 a.m. At night, snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 3 a.m., then rain, snow, and sleet between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., then rain after 4 a.m. Low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.
  • Midweek next week: Early forecasts say the area may get hit with freezing rain or snow between Tuesday and Thursday.
