Temperatures Expected To Reach 90 In Jersey City, Then Thunderstorms: See When

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Temperatures in Hudson County are expected to reach 87 on Thursday and 90 on Friday with little relief until Friday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Even then, the predicted rains will be short lived, followed by a hot weekend, the NWS says.

Thunderstorms are expected to start after 2 p.m. Friday and will likely end by 8 p.m., the NWS says. Saturday and Sunday are expected to be sunny with highs in the low 80s.

At the northern tip of the state, temperatures are expected to be slightly lower, 87 Thursday and 89 Friday, the NWS said.
