JERSEY CITY, NJ — As a rainstorm settled over Hudson County, forecasters predicted that 1-2 inches would fall by Wednesday morning. The rain is expected to taper off in the area by 10 a.m.
Meanwhile, for those traveling for the holiday, AAA says Wednesday will be the busiest day to drive, especially from 2 - 6 p.m.

The National Weather Service issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for Hudson and eastern Essex and Union counties, from 1-7 a.m.
The area floods most often at high tide. Wednesday's high tides will be at 3:51 a.m. and then at 4:12 p.m.
