Help Local Homeless, Animals, Or The Arts For 'Hudson Gives,' Or Year 'Round

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Each May, local charities participate in "Hudson Gives," allowing residents to donate and have their gift matched. Thursday, May 8, was a special day in which these organizations encourage donations through various promotions, but you can donate at other times, as well.

Hoboken Shelter — You can donate to the Hoboken Homeless Shelter through May 16 as part of Hudson Gives. The shelter feeds thousands of people each year and helps them get work and get into housing they can afford. Find out more here.

York Street Project — The York Street Project is participating in Hudson Gives through May 16 as well. They house homeless parents and children in Jersey City. Find out more here.
