How Much Is COVID Spreading In Hudson County With Delta Emerging?

Here's the growth rate in Hudson County.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The county is still marked at a "high" rate of community COVID-19 transmission, according to the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report.

But the county isn't alone, as all but one county in the state are now deemed as places with "high" transmission. Transmission levels are determined either by new cases per 100,000 residents in the last seven days or the percentage of coronavirus tests that come back positive; the higher category determines the transmission level.

The CDC says fully vaccinated people should wear masks indoors in public if they live in an area with "substantial" or "high" transmission of the virus.
