Jersey City Brings Back Biodegradable Leaf Bags For The Fall
Leaf bags are being distributed on Saturdays only, and you must show proof of residency.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Fall is here and if the chill in the air wasn't hint enough, soon Jersey City's streets will be filled with leaves as a colorful reminder.
The city has brought back its biodegradable leaf bag giveaway. Jersey City residents can go to one of the 12 pickup sites, show proof of residency and get their bag to start cleanup. Proof of residency could be a utility bill, driver's license, etc.
Leaf bags will be distributed on Saturdays only from Noon to 3:00 p.m. beginning Oct. 02 through Dec. 18 at the following locations:
