Jersey City Gears Up For Jazz Festival This Weekend

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Exchange Place will be flooded with the sweet sound of jazz this weekend as the Jersey City Jazz Festival takes over the area.

The festival is hosted by Riverview Jazz and is the largest jazz festival in the tri-state area. Saturday's festival lineup includes nine performers rotating on two stages, as well as food trucks and a beer garden. One stage is sponsored by the Exchange Place Alliance and the other stage is sponsored by Bank of America.

The list of performers and their corresponding stages are as follows:

• NJCU Jazz Combo: 12 p.m. - Bank of America stage
• Brawlik: 1 p.m. - Exchange Place Alliance stage
• Stephane Wrembel: 2 p.m. - Bank of America stage
• Karen Joseph “Mambocha”: 3 p.m. - Exchange Place Alliance stage
• Russell Malone: 4 p.m. - Bank of America stage
• The Smalls LIVE All-Stars, Featuring Victor Lewis, Seamus Blake and Peter Washington: 5 p.m. - Exchange Place Alliance stage
• Winard Harper's Jelli Posse: 6 p.m. - Bank of America stage
• La Excelencia: 7 p.m. - Exchange Place Alliance stage
• Lezlie Harrison: Emcee
