JERSEY CITY, NJ — Visitors age 12 and up will have to show proof of at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to enter the Liberty Science Center, starting on September 8.

The center announced the protocol on Wednesday. A valid photo ID and proof of vaccination will be required.

"As a science institution, we are committed to following public health guidance that strongly indicates vaccinations are the most effective way to protect ourselves and our community—especially those too young to be vaccinated—from the rampant spread of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19," the center wrote on its website.
