The Maman Cafe has nine locations across New York City and is expanding across the river into Jersey City.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A new French bakery with strong New York City roots is making its way across the river and planting its first New Jersey location in Jersey City.

Maman, which translates to 'mother' in French, has nine locations across New York City and two locations in Canada. According to Jersey City Upfront, the bakery will be opening in late fall at 70 Hudson.

Maman offers more than just French coffee, serving breakfast and brunch items like Quiché and breakfast bowls as well as eggs ratatouille. Drinks vary from classic espresso and lattes to fund new flavors like honey lavender latte and passion fruit matcha soda.
