New Jersey City University To Unveil New Fort Monmouth Location

NJCU's new location will expand bachelor's and master's degree offerings along the Jersey Shore.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — New Jersey City University will host a ribbon cutting ceremony next week to unveil the new NJCU @ Fort Monmouth location.

New Jersey City University is the educational partner in the revitalization of the historic former Army base at Fort Monmouth. NJCU’s new location will expand bachelor's and master's degree offerings along the Jersey Shore. The new location in Squier Hall — formerly the home of the Signal Corps — is renovated from its origins as a 1935-era administrative building and is now a state-of-the-art facility featuring 15 classrooms, a nursing education center, a cybersecurity computer lab, and offices for faculty and staff in a 72,000-square-foot building located on more than 22 acres.

NJCU @ Fort Monmouth hosted several classes, and organizations used its event space for community events during the summer session, and it will officially open its doors for the fall 2021 semester.
