JERSEY CITY, NJ —The New Jersey City University men's and women's golf programs announced the fall portion of their 2021-22 schedules Tuesday. Both programs, which are coached by Joe Yeck, are competing as associate members of the Atlantic East Conference for the first time.

Each program will play five regular-season matches in the fall. The women will compete in the Atlantic East Championship at the end of October, while the men's conference championship will take place during the spring portion of the schedule.

"We believe that the Atlantic East is the right place for the Gothic Knights and our young golf programs to prosper," Yeck said at the time of the Atlantic East Conference announcement in late June. "We look forward to competing against some strong opponents on beautiful courses in the Northeast as our men and women look to join their NJCU peers as championship contenders."

On Sept. 20, NJCU men return to the Garden State to play in the FDU Invitation, an 18-hole event hosted by FDU-Florham at the Mendham Golf & Tennis Club. On Sept. 24-25, the Gothic Knights men are off to the Golden Oaks Shootout, which is hosted by Arcadia University at the Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania.

Next up for the men's team is the Mason Dixon Collegiate Classic, hosted by McDaniel College, which will take place Oct. 9-10 at the Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania.

The men's team then closes out the fall portion of the season on Oct. 16-17 with the Gino Biondi Memorial Tournament, which is hosted by Marywood at the Glenmaura National Golf Club in Mossic, Pennsylvania.

The NJCU women's team opens the program's second ever season on Sept. 16 with an 18-hold dual match against Stockton University at the Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Galloway.

A trip to Pennsylvania is next for the women's team, which faces Marywood University in an Oct. 2 dual meet at Stone Hedge Golf Course in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania.

Next, the Gothic Knights are scheduled to compete in back-to-back 18-hold tournaments. On Oct. 11, they will play at the Muhlenberg College Invitational at Lehigh Country Club in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The next day, the women's team will play at the Drew University Spring Brook Invitational at Spring Brook Country Club in Morristown.

The women then close out the fall regular season with the 18-hold Lebanon College Fall Invitational at the Lebanon Country Club in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

The Atlantic East Women's Championship takes place on Oct. 28 at the White Manor Country Club in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Though they remain associate members of the Atlantic East in men's and women's golf, NJCU will be immediately eligible for conference awards. The other programs in the conference for men's and women's golf are: Cabrini University, Maywood University and Neumann University. William Paterson University, like NJCU, is an associate member of the conference.
