Officials Looking For Information Into Jersey City Woman Found Dead In Apartment

Officials said 27-year-old Diamond Davila was found dead in her apartment, but the cause and manner of death haven't been determined.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Officials are looking for more information about the death of a 27-year-old woman who was found in her Woodlawn Avenue apartment in Jersey City on Tuesday afternoon.

Jersey City Police responded to a call on Tuesday about a deceased woman at 131 Woodlawn Avenue in Jersey City. Officers found a lifeless 27-year-old woman – later identified as Diamond Davila –who was pronounced deceased at 3:08 p.m. accordign to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.

The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department

No arrests have been made.
