JERSEY CITY, NJ — A longtime pastor at a Jersey City church has been arrested in Denver for having allegedly sexually assaulted two children in that state decades ago, NJ.com reported Wednesday.
Robert Anthony “Tony” Langston, 60, had been serving as lead pastor at Tapestry Church, now known as Freedom Church, until he resigned in June, said NJ.com.
He was accused of sex crimes against two members of Landmark Tabernacle in Denver, where he was a youth pastor, the report said. One alleged crime occurred in 1998 with a victim under 15, the outlet reported.
