A Third Taco Bell Is Opening In Jersey City, This Time Downtown

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City will have a third Taco Bell location, but this time it's coming to the downtown area.

The new location is planned for the Hudson Company National Bank Building at 75 Montgomery Street. The renderings and plans were discussed and approved at the last Jersey City Historic Preservation meeting. The restaurant will be housed on the first floor facing the Montgomery side of the building, spanning 1,491 square feet and seating for 18.

Taco Bell has two other locations in the city, one in Journal Square at 2825 Kennedy Blvd and one in the West Side at 701 New Jersey 440. One other location is available in the Newport Mall food court.

Taco Bell joins a few other chains in the area including Chipotle, CAVA and &pizza. No word on the firm opening date.
