Wondee Siam Restaurant To Open In Downtown Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Another New York City based restaurant is making its way across the Hudson and into Jersey City. Wondee Siam will open a location on Newark Avenue in the pedestrian plaza.

Signage is up at 137 Newark Avenue — spelled One Dee Siam, the restaurant touts authentic Thai food. The restaurant has roots in NYC's Hell's Kitchen and specializes in Thai food, although the website description includes "Asian & Thai Food."

The new Thai restaurant will be replacing the Sawadee restaurant that used to be there, which also served Thai food.
