Aug. 3: Lunch Time Film, Beach Bash, Stars Over LBI

1. Enjoy your lunch with a classic film at the library at noon. The library will be showing Arsenic and Old Lace. The Friends of the Lacey Library will provide additional treats.

2. There’s a Beach Bash at Island Beach State Park from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Admission is $8 per adult, $3 for children 12 and under and free for kids under three.

3. Cool Runnings will be showing at Boardwalk and Parkway in Point Pleasant at dark.

4. The Long Beach Island Foundation presents Stars Over LBI at 8 p.m. at 120 Long Beach Boulevard with a presentation by John Miller of the Pearl Observatory. Bring a blanket or chair and a picnic dinner.

5. The Sound of Music will be showing at the Surflight Theatre at 8 p.m.
