Search Continues To Recover Missing Blind, Deaf Dog's Body In Bay
Rusty went missing from her home in the Beach Boulevard section of Forked River on Tuesday
LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - The search for a Rusty, an elderly blind and deaf dog from Beach Boulevard will continue today, the administrator of Lost Dog Search and Rescue Facebook page said.
"After evaluating all the information and just leaving the property and talking to Rusty's owners, I'm sad to say we are now on a Recovery Mission rather then a Search," Matt Geissinger wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.If anyone in the area has a small boat or Kayak that can SAFELY be maneuvered down the waterway off of Beach Boulevard in Forked River and is willing to help bring closure to this family PLEASE PM me for the information needed."
Geissinger said he is hoping to have a dog from the H-K9 Search and Rescue Team on the scene today.
