Horizon Health Seminars to be Offered at Lacey Library Monthly

Educational health seminars will be offered by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield’s “Blue to You” van at the starting Monday, June 25.

“You will be able to attend educational health seminars, learn about local wellness activities and initiatives and use the van’s touch screen TV to look up healthcare information and watch informative videos,” said Dawn Heyson of the Ocean County Library System.

Horizon members will also be able to meet with a company advisor concerning recent claims, billing or other issues.

The service is offered as a part of the Chapters of Health program series and is the result of a partnership between Horizon and the library.

The van will be at the library on the fourth Monday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon. It is free of charge and open to all adults. Anyone, including members of other providers, can take advantage of the service.
