July 13: Sand Castle Contest, Coffeehouse, Movie on the Beach

1. There’s a sand castle contest on President Avenue in Lavallette at 10 a.m.

2. The Ocean County Fair continues from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The day will include America’s Got Talent Acrobats, After the Reign Country Band, howling wolves, 4-H display and animals, horse shows, children’s games, rides, craft demonstrations and agricultural displays.

3. Drop in at the Lacey Library between noon and 2 p.m. for crafts. The event is for children of all ages.

4. The Lacey United Methodist Church is holding a Friday night Coffeehouse at 7 p.m. Admission is free. The night will include coffee, tea, soda and baked goods for $1 each. Live entertainment will also be provided.

5. Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song will be showing at Boardwalk and Parkway in Point Pleasant Beach at dusk.
