1. The school district is featuring Rutgers University’s summer reading programs on its website. The university is offering summer programs in phonics, comprehension, vocabulary, study skills and speed reading. The classes are offered in Toms River and Brick for grades kindergarten through 12. There are also programs available for college student and adults. For more information or to register call 1-800-978-9596.
2. There is a free blood pressure screening at the from 10 a.m. to noon.
3. The school district’s color guard mini-camp continues at today from 5 to 8 p.m.
