Lacey Police Charge Bayville Man With Drunk Driving

Arrest came after a motor vehicle stop, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella says.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - A Bayville man is facing drunk driving charges after Lacey police stopped him near Beach Boulevard and Bermuda Drive, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Michael Verwey was on patrol at 4:56 p.m. on Nov. 22 when he saw the vehicle in front of him failing to maintain its lane. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Christian Minetti, 39, Harley Boulevard, the chief said.

Minetti was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released after receiving summonses for driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and reckless driving, DiBella said.

His vehicle was impounded pursuant to John's Law.
