Lacey Police Charge Lanoka Harbor Woman With Drunk Driving

Police arrested Alice Errickson, 51, after responding to a report of an erratic driver, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently arrested a Lanoka Harbor woman and charged her with drunk driving after they responded to a report of an erratic driver, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officers Elton Copes and Adam Ewart responded to the area of Walnut Drive, Lanoka Harbor at 3:59 on Wednesday, Dec. 6. They stopped the driver, Alice Errickson, 51, Walnut Drive and found her to be operating her vehicle under the influence of alcohol, the chief said.

The officers arrested Errickson and took her to police headquarters. She was released after being issued four motor vehicle summonses - driving while under the influence, refusal to submit to sobriety tests, reckless driving and driving with an expired registration, DiBella said.

Her vehicle was impounded pursuant to John's Law, the chief said.
