The man's body was discovered on Nov. 16, police say.

LACEY TOWNSHIP - Lacey police have identified the body of a man found in the Forked River Game Farm a few weeks ago.
The body of Eric J. Peirson, 64, was found in the woods at the farm on Nov. 16, Capt. Patrick Ganley said.
Peirson had been staying at a home in Forked River, but actually lived at 128 Liberty Avenue in Manahawkin, he said.

"A local hunter found the body and nothing at this point would lead us to believe suicide or foul play," Ganley said. "He was known to walk on the trails in the woods as part of his daily routine."
Police are still waiting on toxicology reports done on Peirson's body, Ganley said.
