Morris County Man Receives Complaint Summons for Urinating in Public

Lacey Township police blotter from May 22 to May 29

A Morris County resident received a special form of a complaint summons for allegedly urinating in public on May 28.

Police reported to the Marina at Southwinds on East Lacey Road at 5 p.m. after boat owners complained of a possible intoxicated male causing a dispute.

The subsequent investigation found that the boat owners complained to Michael Nasconeiglio, 29, of Boonton, who allegedly was urinating on the property. The complaints led to a verbal argument, police said.

Nasconeiglio received a special complaint summons charging him with urinating in public.

A Lacey Road business located in the Bamber Lake section of Lacey Township reported 50 feet of 600-volt electrical cable stolen. The value was $200.

A resident of Laurel Boulevard reported three 50-foot yellow shore power cords were stolen from behind the home. The value was $225.

A 16-year-old female from Beachwood was detained at Walmart on suspicion of shoplifting. She allegedly stole $51.77 worth of assorted candy. The juvenile was released to her mother.

Officers responded to a Deerhead Lake Drive home where a mailbox sustained $25 in damage. On the same date, a next-door neighbor reported that their mailbox also sustained $25 in damage.

Approximately $100 in damage was done to a shed located behind a Route 9 business. It is currently unknown if anything was stolen.

A resident of Sinclair Avenue in Lanoka Harbor reported an $800 surfboard stolen.

George Flynn, 60, of Brick was originally stopped by police while driving for failure to maintain lane at 2:15 a.m. Flynn was charged with DWI, failure to maintain lane and reckless driving.

A resident of Birch Road in Lanoka Harbor reported that their vehicle was left unlocked and $500 worth of merchandise, including a $400 Coach purse and $50 Coach wristlet, was stolen. Also stolen was $2 in cash, assorted identification and credit cards.

Another Birch Road resident reported that their unlocked work truck was entered. Approximately $450 of assorted hand tools was stolen.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at 1:39 a.m. on Andres Baluski, 35, of Forked River for speeding on Lacey Road near Shodda Street. Baluski was charged with DWI, reckless driving and speeding.

Police reported to Cedar Drive in Lanoka Harbor where an abandoned home was forcibly entered. Damage sustained to residence was estimated at $75 and included the front door and molding. Nothing was reported missing.

David Bell, 18, of Manahawkin was arrested on the strength of a $500 warrant issued by Lacey. He was unable to post bail and sent to the Ocean County Jail.

Patrick Clayton, 25, of Bayville had an outstanding warrant of $250 from South Toms River. He was taken to the Ocean County Jail unable to post bail. 

May 22
Police reported to a Lacey Road business where someone broke in while the store was closed. A Dell Inspiron laptop valued at $1,000 was stolen along with miscellaneous files.

Steven Onorato, 41, of Forked River was arrested on the strength of a $350 warrant issued by Surf City Police. He was processed and released after posting bail.
