No Timeline Set for Taylor Lane Light Installation
The state Department of Transportation has secured the necessary electrical service agreement with Lacey Township

The state Department of Transportation has secured the necessary electrical service agreement with Lacey Township to move forward with the light at Route 9 and Taylor Lane, spokesman Timothy Greeley said.
Although the paperwork portion of the project has advanced, the project has not, he said. No actual physical design work has begun and a timeline for installation is not in place.
“We have the formal request/application on file and it will be reviewed accordingly,” he said. “Pending the outcome of that review either the design consultant will have to address any further issues we might have, or we will begin the underground electrical design process.”

“The Department, knowing that we had a major resurfacing project beginning that would address Route 9 through this area, tied in the installation of the new electrical conduit crossing and junction boxes into that resurfacing contract - so the underground infrastructure is in place,” Greeley said.
Greeley could not provide a definitive time line for the project but said, “it will be addressed as our resources allow.”
