Parked Cars Must Be Kept Off Snowy Lacey Roads

Cars can be ticketed and towed if not removed, police chief says.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Police Chief Michael C. DiBella is reminding residents to keep parked cars off Lacey roads so the Public Works Department can keep the streets clear during the expected snowstorm.

Heavy snow is possible from 6 a.m. on Saturday and 6 p.m., with significant reductions in visibility. Total snow accumulations of between three to six inches are possible, the chief said.

Keeping parked vehicles off the streets during snowstorms is required by ordinance. Any vehicles left in the roadway can be ticketed and towed, DiBella said.
