Popcorn Park: Beautiful Bear Is Still Waiting For A Home
Bear is a 10-year-old Shepard mix whose family gave him up after adopting him as a puppy.

LACEY TOWNSHIP - Bear, a 10-year-old shepherd mix, was understandably depressed when the people who had owned him since he was a puppy surrendered him to the Associated Humane Animal Shelter at Popcorn Park back in June 2016.
He might have a few years on him, but this older guy still has plenty of spunk. He can be active and playful and gets along just fine, despite a little arthritis, according to a post on the shelter's Facebook page.
Bear has excellent manners and has had a lot of training in his life. Watch this brief video of Bear.

"He is housebroken, of course, and is always is a perfect gentleman," the post states. "He can be a little shy when he meets new people, but just let him check you out for a few minutes and you'll be the best of friends."
Bear would do best if he were the only pet, "...due to experiences in his past that have left him a little apprehensive of other pets and small children," according to the post. "Bear has so much love to give though you won't need much else in your life."
