Someone Smashed Window At OC Sheriff's Toy Drive Building
Grapefruit-size chunk of concrete caused $300 worth of damage to Lacey building, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that occurred when someone shattered a window in a building rented by the Ocean County Sheriff's Department, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Darrell Nick responded to the building at 512 Route 9 in Forked River at 1:28 p.m. on Nov. 20. The building is being rented by the Sheriff's Department for its annual Christmas Toy Drive.
Someone through a grapefruit-sized chunk of concrete through a window in the northwest corner of the building sometime between 9:30 am. and 1:30 p.m., DiBella said.

The damage to the window is estimated at $300. Nothing appeared to have been taken from the building, the chief said.
