Staten Island Man Injured In Lacey Quad Accident

Man was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment of head and neck injuries.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - A Staten Island man had to be airlifted from the woods behind Argos Farm on Lacey Road in Forked River recently after the quad he was riding flipped over, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Dan Ricciardella responded to the area at 1:49 pm. on Dec. 3 on a report of a quad accident. The driver, Joseph R. Lombardi, 52, was semi-conscious when Ricciardella arrived, the chief said.

He was transported by helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune with head and back injuries, DiBella said.
