Applications Being Accepted for 3-Year-Old Preschool Program

The  is now accepting applications for the district’s 3-year-old preschool program. This integrated preschool program will service both typically developing and special needs children. Classes will meet for 2½ hours a day, five days per week.

The 3-year-old class will be limited to 16 students. Special needs students will be placed in the program by identification, evaluation and eligibility procedures outlined in New Jersey Administrative Code. Placement for eight typically-developing 3-year-old children will be based on a lottery to be held on March 15. Tuition cost for this program is $300 per month.

Eligibility for this program requires that children must be at least 3 years of age on or before October 1, 2012, must be a Lawrence Township resident, and must be toilet trained.

Lottery applications are available at all of the township elementary school main offices, the or online at www.ltps.org/StudentRegistration.

Applications must be returned to the Lawrenceville Elementary School, 40 Craven Lane, no later than March 9, 2012.
