Lawrence Rt. 1 Fire Closes Ramps Thursday Morning: DOT

LAWRENCE, NJ - A fire response on Route 1 in Lawrence has prompted commuting delays Thursday morning, authorities said.

As of 6:11 a.m., there’s a building fire on Route 1 in both directions near the ramp to Whitehead Road in Lawrence Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently open. Ramps are closed and detoured, the agency said.
