Lawrence Township seniors recently enjoyed a performance of "High School Musical Jr." that wasput on by students at Lawrence Middle School. And now is the time for Lawrence high School students to register to AP testing.

On March 1, the Lawrence Middle School Drama Club hosted 25 members of the Lawrence Township Senior Center and their families for a dress rehearsal of the club’s performance of “High School Musical Jr.” LMS faculty and staff also attended.

The Drama Club hopes to make this an annual event.  Lillian Lasalle, director of the Senior Center, related the seniors enjoyed the show.

HSPA Testing at LHS

HSPA testing for all juniors and re-testing seniors will take place at Lawrence High School on Tuesday, March 6, through Thursday, March 8, from 7:45-10:45 a.m. There will be a 10:45 a.m. delayed start for freshman, sophomores, and non-testing seniors on HSPA exam days. Students riding the bus to school should be at the bus stop three (3) hours after their regular time. The following links are resources for testing students and their parents:

AP Test Registration

AP Test Registration opens on Monday, March 5.  Students interested in taking one or more of the assessments, should complete the document available in the media box above and remit to guidance no later than Friday, March 23.  Forms are also available in the school counseling office.

Rick Salmastrelli Remembered With Scholarship

In honor of the late Rick Salmastrelli, the Rick Salmastrelli Foundation is pleased to announce the I WILL WAIT FOR YOU scholarship. All senior athletes at Lawrence High School that display community focused characteristics – encouragement, commitment and support – are eligible. Each year, this scholarship will help the chosen student athlete take his or her excellent attitude and team dedication on to the next level at college. The registration deadline to vote at the next election is March 27, 21 days prior to Election Day. Forms in English and Spanish can be found in the media box above.

If you want to receive your Vote by Mail ballot in the mail, the County Clerk must receive your Vote by Mail application no later than seven days before the election. You can get a Vote by Mail ballot in person at the County Clerk's office up until 3:00 pm the day before the election. Vote by mail ballots must be received by the Board of Election by the close of polls on Election Day.
