Mercer County Expands Golf Discounts For Veterans
Veterans will only need to show proof of service or a VA identification card to receive discounted rates, the County said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — In a bid to make gold more accessible to veterans, Mercer County has expanded golf discounts for former service members, Executive Dan Benson announced.
County veterans can now receive a 30 percent discount on Golf Greens Fees. They are also eligible for a 10 percent discount on items from the Golf Pro Shop.
Veterans will only need to show proof of service or a VA identification card to receive discounted rates.

“I am excited to make golf more accessible and affordable for our veterans, as a way to show our continuing gratitude for their service,” Benson said.
“Research has shown golf can be a therapeutic outlet for veterans to practice mindfulness while getting physical exercise.”
