Obituary: Angelo S. Taglairino, 89

Longtime Lawrence Township resident was an Army veteran of World War II.

Angelo S. Taglairino, 89, of Lawrence Township died at his home on Sunday, March 11, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Trenton, and a former Hamilton resident, he had resided in Lawrence most of his life.

Mr. Taglairino was a proud Hamilton West High School alumni, Class of 1942, who enjoyed attending his class reunions.

He was a World War II veteran having served in the Army.

Mr. Taglairino was a life long electrician. He was a building code inspector with the State of New Jersey, Department of Treasury-DBC before retiring in 1985.

He was a member of St. Hedwig Church and had served as an usher, a member of the Notre Dame Father’s Glee Club, and was a retired lifetime member of the Enterprise Fire Co.

Son of the late, Joseph and Frances Graci Taglairino, he is survived by his loving wife Joan Capes Taglairino; his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Dominic Reggimenti; his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Linda Taglairino; his grandchildren, Mark Reggimenti and his wife Sarah, Kara Bunnell and her husband Keith, Ronald M. Taglairino and his fiancé Amanda Mullany, and Lorin Taglairino; and his great-grandchildren, Marissa Reggimenti, and Evan, Tyler, and Katelyn Bunnell. He was Uncle “Jillo” to his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Rosie, Lucy, Mary, and Sarah, and his brothers John and Joseph.

The family wishes to thank his devoted caregivers: Walter, Adam and Paul.

His funeral will be held on Friday, March 16, at 9 a.m. from , 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence Township.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Hedwig Church, Trenton, with Rev. Dr. Jacek W. Labinski, pastor, officiating.

Entombment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton.

Friends may call on Thursday, March 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105-1942.
