Obituary: Fredrick R. Wyckoff, 80

A Lawrence Township resident since 1982, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Fredrick R. Wyckoff, 80, of Lawrence Township died Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Capital Health Medical Center Hopewell surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Born in Trenton, he had resided in Lawrence since 1982.

Fred retired in 1993 after 15 years as an appliance repairman with the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services.

Fred was an Army veteran and was stationed on Okinawa.

He was a member of Trenton Lodge #5 F & AM and Scottish Rite Valley of Trenton.

Fred loved playing solitaire and listening to audio books and watching television.

Son of the late Jacob and Etta Morgan Wyckoff, he is survived by his loving wife Marie Pulone Wyckoff, several nieces and nephews including Sandra Loeber and Robert Rude, both of Ridgemanor, Fla., Daniel Posluszny of Lawrence, and Christina Maver of Shamong.

Funeral services for Fred will be held on Monday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence Township, with Father Kevin Kimtus of officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.

Family and friends may call on Monday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests that memorial contributions in Fred’s memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, Tenn., 33148-0142.
