Obituary: Vincenzo Lubrano, 82

Vincenzo Lubrano, 82, of Lawrence Township died Friday, March 16, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.

Born in Isernia, Italy he was a resident of Lawrence since 1973. 

Vincenzo retired in 1995 after 25 years of service with Princeton University and the Institute for Advanced Studies.

Son of the late Nicola and Antonia Rossi Lubrano and brother of the late Cosmo and Domenico Lubrano, he is survived by his wife, Giacinta Toto Lubrano; his son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Anna Lubrano; his grandchildren, Jennifer Lubrano Pisani and her husband Nicholas, Elizabeth Lubrano and Enzo Lubrano.

Also surviving are his brother, Damiano Lubrano; his sister, Olimpia Lise; his sisters-in-law, Evelina Toto and Vilma Lubrano; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Vincenzo on Monday, March 19, at noon at the , 1253 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, March 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at , 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence.
