Lawrence Township volunteer firefighters Tuesday night rescued a cat that was stuck about 18 feet up a tree at the White Pine apartment complex.
Volunteer firefighters from Lawrence Road Fire Co. were called out about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday (March 20) to rescue a cat that had been stuck – reportedly for several hours – about 18 feet up a tree located in a courtyard between some of the buildings at the White Pine apartment complex on White Pine Circle, off Skillman Avenue.
Firefighter Wayne Hannon Jr. climbed a ladder to retrieve the cat. Once back on the ground, the pet – named “Yoo-Hoo” – was reunited with its owners. Â
