Police Locate Man Who Escaped Mercer Psychiatric Hospital
Residents who see Markies Wells should not approach him, Ewing Police said.
(Update: The man has been located and is back in custody, police said)
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Authorities have launched a search for a man who escaped from the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital.
On Friday, at 4:08 a.m., Ewing Police were notified of a walk away from Trenton Psychiatric Hospital by NJ Human Services Police.
Markies Wells, 39, is described as a black male, around 5’11 and 200 pounds with a full beard and dreadlocks

He was last seen wearing a green jumpsuit, police said.
If residents happen to see Wells, they should not approach him, instead they should call 911.
