'Zoo on Wheels' to Visit Lawrence Nature Center

The Philadelphia Zoo’s “Zoo on Wheels” will visit the this Saturday, March 24, to present “Fur, Feathers, Scales and Skin,” a fun program for children in preschool through second grade.

A news release issued by the Nature Center reads: “Children become zoo scientists and discover which animals have soft fur, fluffy feathers, or dry scales. Touchable artifacts and live critters!”

The event will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Nature Center, which is located at 481 Drexel Ave. in Lawrence Township.

Pre-registration is required and there is a $3 charge per person. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
