Blending the Old and the New at Huddy's Inn
Huddy's Inn is constructing what the owners hope to will become the center of Colts Neck.
Huddy's Inn has been a staple in Colts Neck for over 30 years, but its owners, Sal Asaro and Ray Longobardi, have a new vision in mind.
Fans of Huddy's on Route 34 in its current location won't be disappointed, as Asaro and Longobardi are fusing the past and the future.
"Our vision is to make this the town center for Colts Neck," Asaro said. "We expect this to be a place where the town can meet for events."

At it's new location at the corner of Route 537 and Route 34, Huddy's Inn will feature a large outdoor patio and three bars. The much larger former school building will have room for private parties,
The biggest difference? Huddy's will now have space for volleyball, bocce ball, horseshoes and more on the large outdoor property.

But even the size of the booths in the restaurant will be exactly as Huddy's was. Loyal customers won't miss the fireplace, or even much of the decor. Asaro said the larger location will serve as an homage to the past with a nod to the future.
Asaro is hopeful the new location will be open by the end of the summer. Until then, Huddy's Inn on Route 34 remains open for business.
