Colts Neck BOE Looks to Fill Vacant Seat

The Colts Neck Board of Education is looking to fill a vacant seat, after its board president resigned in March.
Former Board President Nancy LoCascio resigned on March 22, after gaining new employment that she said would demand more of her time and require more travel, according to District Business Administrator John Paredes.
The distirct is now advertising to fill the position. Any resident chosen to fill the seat would have to run in the November election to keep it.

Qualifications:
- A citizen of the United States of America
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to read and write
- A resident of the Colts Neck Township municipality for at least (1) year preceding the date of appointment
- Not directly/indirectly interested in a contract with a claim against the Board
- Registered to vote in the District
- Not disqualified as a voter pursuant to NJSA 19:4-1
Residents must send a letter of interest and resume to Paredes by April 18 at 4 p.m.
